Rome

I have always wanted to visit Rome so it was something very special to me to be able to do so. Even though Rome isn't funky or trendy, Rome is special. Even though Rome isn't as well preserved as you could expect, Rome is special. Even though Rome isn't as Italian as one could expect, Rome is special. It has an air to it, the city has a discreet way of showing its history and richness, it isn't brash and yet it is overwhelming. It isn't the Italy of dark sun glasses, flashy tailored suits and ferraris, it is a city of over 2500 years where emperors lived and culture prevails. And to make it even more special, when arriving at the Piazza del Popolo, I suddenly stood 20 meters away from Andrea Bocelli who was practicing for an open air concert...I can hardly describe how much it touched me inside by its strength and beauty. I filmed 40' of it, which as you can imagine, doesn't do the experience any justice at all.
